New Look of Cuda-Challenger forum
« on: September 23, 2017 - 03:29:04 PM »
I really like the look of the HOME page. I do not like the new look of the FORUM page. One of the basic things I learned studying typography in college is all capital letters/upper case text is very difficult to read. The overall concept/layout of the FORUM section is terrible. I was a graphic artist for a newspaper and this type of typography and layout would have gotten me demoted to the mail room.

Not that my opinion matters much, but the. new layout sucks.  I use the iPad a lot, the colors  disguise the  reply and other  things and its is just not right. Also,I,cannot spread the screen...so,all,the printers very small.  This is too, difficult to,continue.

I'm guessing he means https://forum.e-bodies.org forum or For Ebody only?

What is “the other”

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

I don't like it either. I can't tell where to go to look for unread topics or replies to my posts.

I was very pleased with the previous C-C.com layout...  one of my favorites.   This new layout is radically different... now to re-learn it?
Autocross/road racers go in deeper... and come out harder!

Damn! Just logged on here, been away for a while, new design, gotta look around to see if I like it.
But I get all caps on everything, that must be a bug right?

How do you on this New Forum get the New Posts that show up like on the Old Format Forum?

I hate to join everyone else, but as an art major and product designer's view...this sucks.  You went backwards instead of forwards.  This Roman serifed font is very difficult to read.  Tabs hidden in the black bars are difficult to find.  This is not done well at all.  Sorry for being so critical, but let's go back to the old style and fonts.  It worked and looked nice.  Our 1 week beta test is over.

Thank-you, I am an older guy and do resist change when it is only done for something to do.
I believe the old saying if it "Ain't Broke Then Don't Fix It", sure nothing is perfect and can need tweaking occasionally but the older layout was far superior.
Again thank-you that this Forums Lay-out has been restored to its former glory, it beats many hands down.   :2thumbs:
There are a few forums out there that have a flashy look but are hopeless to maneuver through.
