So this wont be much of an announcement as most already know, but weve gone through some significant changes around here within the last week or so. We have a completely redesigned home page and forum theme, something that ive been meaning to do for a long time. People seem to be pretty happy with the homepage, which is good because that wont be going back. I am resetting all members to use the new forum theme. I will still be adjusting some parts about it over time, but for the most part how it looks now is how it will stay. because i know some people may not be big fans of the new look, you can go back to the old if you choose. If you go into Profile, there should be a link off the the side that says Look and Layout. You will want to switch it back to Cuda-Challenger Old.
Weve also redesigned the Member Rides section. I encourage people to take a look and if you want your car showcased there, then send an email to
rmolney@gmail.com with all the pictures you and and a write up on your car. As soon as I figure out how to edit the homepage, we will get back to updating Car of the Month on a regular basis. I will use my own car for October, but November is up for grabs. Anyone who wants to be november just send me an email, even if youve been COTM recently. On the homepage there is a cool scroll section for previous COTMs, so you will get added in there once your month has passed.
Thats the jist for now. Like i said there will still be some minor tweaks here and there, but this should be the bulk of it. Remember, dont freak out if you dont like the new theme, you can switch back to the old one easily. These changes i made were done out of some technical necessities, but if youre happy with the old you can still have that. If you do see anything really bad with the new, like the all caps issues, try clearing out your cache and reloading.
So with all that out of the way, send me those Member Rides and COTM submissions!
