    Spray on bedliner for interior panels?

    I found this while searching for something else, but has anyone else heard of doing this, or done it themselves? I have a couple of spare panels that I might try this on to see if it works. Link below, also deals with panel repair.

    Interesting.  Thanks for the link.

    Surely has to be better than using the chalky ones if that is the only option one has.

    My 71 barracuda vert rear white interior panels were so chalky that the surface just crumbled off.  Took them out and scrubbed them and they are totally smooth.  Same for the door panels.

    Yes actually! I did this for all my interior panels that were a different color than what I wanted, ashy, and lacking texture to the plastic. They turned out amazing! I hit it with the bed liner, then with SEM satin black after. I also did it for my dash pad that I repaired.

    I did have photos on my build thread, but Photobucket problems lol. What does one use to upload images now and I will show off how they turned out.

    Fairly simple, go to the rely button, and get to the section with the all the options like the picture below. In the picture you will see the red circled area that is for downloading them. You may have to resize them, but fairly straight forward.

    Ah I went ahead and did imageshack. But anyway here is the finished product on the door panel. I thought “what do I have to lose”

    Rdchallenger12, that looks pretty nice! :thumbsup: I have a couple of kick panels that came with my car that had holes cut in them for speakers. I think I'll use them to practice on. If I like them, I can do the rest of the interior. Sure a lot less money then repop stuff.

    What I did was keep the can far enough away from the panel so that it hardens partially before it touches that was it gives it that texture. I also sprayed in short 2 second bursts.
