What is the correct offset for my challenger?
« on: July 08, 2005 - 05:48:49 PM »
Hi guys,
I need your help! right now im thinking of purchasing a pair of 15x10 torque thrust II's in the back of my 74 challenger. I was thinking of using a 295 50 15 inch tire. Im  not sure if that is going to clear the back. My friend that works at firestone said to see what is the correct offset for the car.  Can anyone please tell me what the biggest combination wheels and tires would fit on the rear of the challenger. (pics would be great too)
thanks

Welcome aboard.

You'll be hard pushed to fit 295's in the rear with a stock set up.  :( Use our [SEARCH] function as this topic is has been widely discussed.

Cheers,
Carl  ;)

Yup, I tried to go with a 275/60/15 with a 10" wheel and a 4.5 inch backspace, not even close. Had to go with an 8" wheel. 8)
