Cheers guys.

Got the Go Wing brackets I made fitting nicely. Bit of filling required but should look great once painted. Have to enlarge the holes on trunk frame to get special nuts to lock up to the skin.

Nice to be working on my own project .

Been busy  doing jobs and have been doing some sanding. Last Tuesday was meant to be the day for some colour but I am so slow doing last prep that it happened on Wednesday , even then I did not get the bits and pieces done. As friend to give me more painting tips and he said put plenty of clear on as this gives you the chance to colour sand if you get runs. Am keen to paint all the car myself so tried out my skills on the front valance. Mixed results, the colour went on great, clear did as well but some runs. Am impressed with the shine , just got fingers crossed that clear sands ok.
Am off to the USA, Salt Lake , Utah for a white Christmas holiday with wife , brother and his family. We all fly out tomorrow for 2 weeks . Wife and I are calling in at Seattle and Los Angles . Got a few car parts waiting there for me. Therefore no cuda work till new year.
Was real keen on a tour at KIndig Customs , but don't think it will work  :(

Pretty color, you can sand out the runs, might need to touch it up. Have fun here in the US.

From the pics it appears to have turned out real well.
Enjoy your trip to the states. And parts...
Removing the warning labels one at a time.
Nature will take care of the rest.

Looking nice.  I'm envious that I had not painted my car.  I'll practice on the next project. I hope your trip to US went well.  Cheers.

No excuse for lack of posts, been busy yes but not that busy.

2 week trip to USA ( Salt Lake City, Seattle , LA), was great, bit of snowboarding, sightseeing, meet some great people, a NBA and NFL game, and most importantly managed to fit all my car parts ( vinyl top, decal for rear quarter, washer bottle, plus more) in my bags .

Spent plenty of time helping with my nephews car, it ready to paint once lockdown has finished here in NZ.

I have been getting back to the cuda, last month I gave the panels one more coat of primer and have wet sanded them ready for paint. I have wet sanded the runs in the clear along the rocker panels. Tried mocking up the brake lines but I have the wrong proportioning block.
The weather here has been great, still 65 F, so have painted all my small parts.

Have not been able to access the forum for last 3 days, background looks different,  updates I assume.

I have fitted my fuel and brake lines in readiness for putting car on feet.

Have finally worked out where 2 brackets fit, they were the left hand muffler hang brackets , 1 goes on the inside and other on out side. Different than my 73 challenger.

I have cut out of thin board the rear parcel shelf and trunk/rear seat partition .

Am hunting through my boxes of parts for the bracket that holds the rear brake flex line to the body, no luck yet.

Spoke to prospective painter who will come out next weekend for look, he keen and got great reputation .

Hi cudamadd, 1965 AP5 Safari wagon, 265 slant, 3 speed. Painting it metallic green ( hopefully next week), white roof, tan interior.  3 nephews ( 22, 20 18) proud owners, going to be there surf wagon.

Yeah I am not sure what happened but if I had to guess I would say the forum merged or came under a new provider. it says "simple machines" next to CC.com
