My 73 Barracuda was that color originally; blue on blue... I was not a fan of the combo. I think the color is nice, just have to be in the right combination and with some accents to break it up.

B5 Blue is the colour I am painting the cuda, the blue you see is a few shades off and no metallic  in it.

Got some Chip guard on today, may give it one more after I have sanded down some off the lumps. After Christmas of course.

Very nice and the Valiant as well.
Removing the warning labels one at a time.
Nature will take care of the rest.

Summer is flying by and I am not as far on as I had hoped.

I have been filling, sanding and priming the front guards along with other small jobs. Guide coat next job.

Been using the sand blast cabinet and got sick of looking at the dirty diff nugget . Blasted it, ( not in the cabinet), and gave it a coat of clear.

Need to start painting running gear black, add it to my job list.

Woww! alot work accomplished there.  BTW - I see that you painted the drive shaft.  I had done the same but learned that I should have painted it while it was spinning.  Maybe you did that but if not beware if you get any vibration later. Probably nothing major but my drive shaft shop pointed it out to me when they were balancing and straightening mine.

Cheers guys, summers on the run and I need to get painting while the weathers on my side.

Thanks redo73 , I painted it without a spin. Cross my fingers that my paint is evenly spread. There is so much rust pitting that I reckon that will cause a unbalancing .

Am so keen to put these shiny parts back together.

I can certainly relate to your feeling of excitement.    .  Everything looks great. I began buying rolls of painters tape to protect everything I touched. I became paranoid as I started assembling but gosh it feels good to have the progress.
