New Challenger
« on: November 09, 2017 - 08:49:46 PM »
Well guys, the old '70 Challenger went to a new owner a couple of weeks ago and tomorrow I will be bringing home a 2017 Scat Pack/ Shaker 392 Hemi Auto in Sublime. All the creature comforts and power that would make the '70 jealous. Kinda sorry to let her go but it is time to move on.

Sublime was a 2015 color.  They had Go-Green (Sassy Grass Green) in 2017.

I know, but I can't let go of yesterdays just yet. If I remember correctly Sublime was the Dodge rendition while the Sassy Grass Green was the Plymouth version and since Plymouth is no longer in the picture please allow me to use the Sublime name as it rolls off the tongue much better.

1970 Dodge had sublime, Plymouth had Lime-light.

1971-ish Dodge had Green Go, Plymouth had Sassy Grass Green.

From appreciating to depreciating, although a lot of fun to drive for sure!

Congrats on the new ride. I would never sell off one of my classics for a new car but I did buy a 2012 Challenger R/T Classic about 4 years ago. I like the car, It is comfortable, quiet , pretty quick & decent on gas. Leap years ahead of the old cars but I still enjoy driving my old cars better. Old school vs new school.
