    My EVIL 72 Challenger

     I just bought my 72 Challenger in April for $5500.00
     It's an original 318 car. But now has a 340 that was rebuilt about 50,000 miles ago. It's got headers and a high energy cam, the previous owner didn't know the specs. The 904 automatic trans was just rebuilt and has a nice shift kit in it.
     It has some big Front a rear after market sway bars that make this thing handle killer!
     The interior needs new seat covers, and I just got new carpet kit on Fathers day from my kids  ;D
     The only major thing I've had to do to it since I bought it was rebuild the front suspension.
     It needs some rust repair and then a new paint job.
     It runs great and I have a blast driving it to work every day.

      It looks like you got quite a nice deal there. :thumbs: Just a question.... does that car have air shocks, or are you blessed with some real nice leaf springs???? Just asking because I'm looking to ditch my air shocks to save my fillings from falling out.  :laughing:

     It's got some REALLY nice leaf springs, the previous owner had it done, not sure where though. The rims are only 14's but once I get some 15's for it, it should sit nice a squaty.

    It's amazing how much attention I have got from this car. Just about everywhere I go I get a thumbs up, a comment like nice car, or an offer to buy it.
      It needs ALOT of work still and the paint and interior is really bad, but it sounds healthy and from 20 feet it catches your eye. There's not alot of Mopars where I live in Concord California, mostly Camaros, Chevelles and mustangs so that may be why.

    Mike, all you have to do is order the springs I got and have them shipped to my house.  Then bring the chally to NY and we will help you put them in.  I guess the Cuda can give up it's spot in the garage for a few days to help yours out!

    EVIL.... That is one sweet ride.  Lookin' good!

    The body is actually pretty straight, just a few small door dings. The paint job was a cheap one and it's looking very rough on the hood and trunk, but the side looks good  ;D
     The main problem is Rust. It has the factory Challenger rust starting on the bottom left rear window along with a quarter sized hole in the trunk. The passenger rear wheel well has some bad rust bubbles on the lower part of both sides, I'll get some patch panels for this. Then the Hood has some bad rust bubbles on the front lower edges right by the trim on both sides.
     I'm working on the interior right now as money allows. I'm starting to get the interior panels stripped of the cheap paint that was on them so they can be dyed.

    Mike, April's right. Although i rode in each of your cars for only a short time :worship: :worship:, April's handles all the little bumps, etc. less rigidly.
