There is a way to switch back to the original view. I did that. I would not have stayed here if I couldn't because the new forum view is so difficult to read.

:iagree:  That new design should not even exist.

If you go into Profile, there should be a link off the the side that says Look and Layout.  You will want to switch it back to Cuda-Challenger Old.

In order to see the look and layout tab you need to put the arrow on the change profile tab...

And I did a screen shot to help but as usual this from doesn't allow posting a screen shot which is one of the long term complaints that the redesign was supposed to fix but didn't..... I wonder why 50% of the members left..

In addition to the hard to read font, the lack of a tab showing replies to my posts was the other reason I switched back to the old look. I can almost picture the original poster (Brotow) wondering if anyone ever commented on his post.

I switched back some time ago and not being notified of any replies has been my biggest problem which disappeared when the original update was instigated and hasn't been fixed. It has been a month since I last requested a solution be found, the web designers appear to not be interested.   :villagers:

I enjoy using the forum to chat Mopar stuff with other like minded people, to seek ideas or parts as needed, and to hopefully help others who may need parts, info, or ideas. I'm just glad I can still use the old format. If all the other stuff never gets updated, I can live with it.

If only 47 of us are using the old format, then we have a problem.   I did. Not and could not work with the new format. I,wonder if,all the old members that were here would come, back,to,visit if there were no new format?

I use the new layout for now with the only issue (for me) being the color scheme used to differentiate between read versus unread posts on threads.

I truly do not like the new format and at least one other person has told me that they wouldn't come to this site if that was their only option; in fact he told me he wasn't coming to the site bc of the new format and when I told how to revert he did. I am not throwing any stones but its all about convenience and familiarity for me; the new design was too confusing and IMO not as useful (for me). If the new design was the only option I am afraid I would be out for the most part; I am sure I would come back to ask questions once in a while but as it is now I am on here 2 -3 times a day when I have time.

Since I don't own the site, I will have to deal with whatever the owner decides, but it appears there is a population who doesnt care for the new version.

Past Mopars

There is no comparison between the 2, I am not against change and gave the new version a go but it was terrible, now that I have the good better version my only gripe still is that I do not get any notifications to the threads I have been interested in even though I have checked to see if they have been "ticked" which is automatically the default on this web site.
