    I have a 440 bored out .30.
    A 505 stroker kit with a 4.250 crankshaft
    6700 rods
    forged flat top pistons
    internal balanced
    Performer RPM 440 88cc Cylinder Heads
    Dual plane PERFORMER RPM 440 intake
    Holley 850 carb
    XE295HL Comp cam
    10" Converter 3000-3400 Stall
    8.75 rear with 3.55 gears

    I probably would of used a proform 950 carb . . . but that all looks pretty good!  When I did my stroker, I used Max Wedge ports for better flow!   Gonna be awesome!   :bigsmile:

    I would have used the 84cc heads, the 88cc heads are open chamber & don't lend themselves to building quench...  Also I'd have used the 17cc dish pistons which give a C/R around 10.2-10.5

    need a big single plane.

    72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

    1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

    Welcome  :2thumbs: while EFI might seem daunting, it is well worth he effort.

    I was the same way, had been working with carbs all my life. However, I put an EFI 6 pack system from F&B Throttle Bodies on the car along with a Holley dual sync distributor, MSD ignition and Holley ECU/harness. The more I learned about it the easier it got and the car has never started, idled and ran as good.

    what's a dual sync distributor?

    but doesn't a carb give the car a sixties old school personality?
