Dynacorn rear Assembly trunk, frame, cross member
« on: January 07, 2018 - 03:21:44 PM »
Hello All,

This question go out to anyone who has used the Dynacorn rear assembly piece pictured below. Every time I ask about it from an amd person or someone who uses AMD they tell me that it is made for the body they sell and doesn't fit well on a stock E body. Is this true? I know Dave sells them and I hope to make a purchase, but I want to make sure first.

Thanks,

Robert

I used this piece for my restoration. it fit well and saved alot of time, labor and expense versus purchasing and welding all of the individual components (floor pans, frame rails etc. etc.).

Awesome! I appreciate the feedback. I just removed one of the rails on my Cuda and it about killed me.

It'll call for some careful supporting of the body since most of the normal areas will be removed. Don't forget that the complete assembly also has to be able to be gotten under and up into the car, since that may prove to be a fun thing. Obviously, measurements will be crucial, so take MANY and also take many photos of everywhere the floors tie into the rockers and firewall. It would save a bunch of fitting/welding, no doubt.

Does that have the rails attached already to the floor pans? I bought and test fit the dynacorn floor and under rear seat floor on my chally and both fit great. Even after replacing both rear wheel houses. I was surprised.

yes these are completely welded together.

Also the fuel filler tube hole is NOT punched so it can work on Cuda. Sold plenty no issues.
