Beautiful San Francisco
« on: January 17, 2018 - 01:52:14 AM »
Funny, on Rush today, he mentioned liberal Mecca San Francisco, is having to to issue on line maps to warn citizens where there are large concentrations of human feces on the streets (left there by the homeless). Also, besides thousands of drug syringes on the streets, public urination is causing corrosion on city utility poles. Leftist policies at their finest!

Used to work all around that town, watched a guy do his business while sitting on a cars front bumper, take off his coat to wipe himself, threw the coat down and walked away.

no problem, San Francisco taxes the residents in order to provide free coats to the homeless.
ya, use to hang out there as a kid, and ride the trollys.

Here's another one for ya, at a fountain/pond water feature, watched a guy peeing in one end and another brushing his teeth at th ether end. Not to mention the pigeons that bathed there.

One word describes all this... SAD
I visited San Francisco in the middle '90's just after the earthquakes, late afternoon the homeless would start to set up their nightly accommodation not caring who they impacted, I can now only imagine how much worse it has become.
When people in power think that throwing money at a problem instead of getting to the root cause doesn't help, research has shown that many choose to live on the street forming a cultural group of their own kind in defiance of the accepted norms of a responsible society.
If they get enough to support their drug habits, not all are addicted at first but many once moving into these groups experiment and become addicted.
This behavior is happening all around the world and growing, their attitude is that they are victims and need to be supported, many do have family and friends but they have rejected them preferring the handouts they get from governments and from begging.

terrible. I read about self-driving cars turned into mobile homes https://tranio.com/world/spotlight/self-driving-mobile-homes-how-driverless-cars-will-change-the-property-market_5354/ and thought it might be an easy way to put the homeless into vehicles of the kind and send them out of the city travelling throughout the country

I read yesterday that the local Walmart, in San Fransisco, has to keep the tents in locked cases  because so many of them where being stolen. They didn't directly blame it on the "homeless" but it doesn't take a genius to figure out who is possibly taking them.

I'm sure they would be sued, if they mentioned the homeless!
Another Walmart is being sued because they put makeup for black teens
in a locked cabinet, because too much was being stolen.

Sadly there is no Walmart in San Francisco that I am aware of. I wish there is. There are plenty of Target stores. The nearest Walmart is either at Hayward or Mountainview which are about 35 miles out.

I believe Oakland across the Bay from SF has the worst tent problem. We had a cold front the last few days that brought colder weather than usual. The amount of homeless roaming the street seems to be reduced. Don’t know where they went.

Shelters take them in until it warms up. Use to work at one.
