I may be mistaken but didn't the AAR and TA use the same upholstery pattern as the rest of the line?

The first sentence below the colors states seat style. This was a planning letter. I went to the T/A Registry and looked at the Gallery of members T/As and saw red, blue, white, etc seats with various seat trim codes. Also went to the AAR registry and seat trim code H6X9 is also the code for black vinyl seats in a AAR Cuda. Also, saw several interior colors for the AAR with different seat trim codes.

Not that I have a dog in this fight but the subject got my attention and raised my curiosity; in 1970 there was a pattern for the Grand Coupe (vinyl and cloth) and a pattern for the Barracuda and Cuda (one pattern/design according to Legendary). Point is, I once owned an AAR and as I recall the seat pattern was the same as every other Cuda except the grand coupe.

Sorry for the hijack, just wanted to clarify it.

That's right 440 I just need the pattern for the Cuda . My guy said he can make it out of heavyer material than the ones u can buy. My seats where bare frames when I got the car so I thought someone might have redone there seats and had an old back cover laying around Thanks Dirk

Dirk,

Again, sorry to hijack the the thread. I would think someone has something laying around. I have Challenger versions but not Cuda. That said, I have redone my own seats a number of times and they are not very complicated. Given you started with bare frames, perhaps a different "ask" might be fo measurements or a drawing with measurements; anyone with a 70 Cuda or Barracuda (not a grand coupe) could get these pretty quickly I would think and if your upholstery guy is good, he should be able to replicate this pretty easily especially if you give him pictures of what the seats look like when done. Another option might be to buy some of the cheap covers that are on Ebay to use as patterns (I would go option A first).

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
