The Cuda Guy's Carlisle Review (*Pics Added*)
« on: July 11, 2005 - 08:46:13 AM »
Ok members here is my review of the event.  I have never seen more ebodys gathered in one spot in my life!!!  It was a great show and all the cars were great!  There were two cars that stand out in my mind as the show stoppers!

1.  1970  AAR Cuda Black, Black Int. and Black Stripes

2.  1970  HEMI Cuda White, Black Int. Black Hockey Stripe, Black Steel Wheels and Hubcaps

3.  1970  Challenger R/T Red, White Int.  White V-Top, White R/T Side Stripe and a Factory Red Shaker

There were so many other great cars but these were the three that I loved the most.  Not to mention that I loved all the members cars as well because I got to see them the most   ;)

Now to the disappointing facts of the show:  I was very sad that there werent very many super rare cars such as the two 71 Hemi Cuda Converts from France were not in attendance and I didnt see any of the 72 440+6 cars that were mentioned on the board.  I like the rare and unique cars and I just didnt feel there were enough of them in attendance.

To the best part of the show:  By far the best part of the show was being with the rest of the members from the board, we have the best group in the world and Im so proud of being a part of this group!  Im so glad I made the loooooong trip to PA if I could I would make the trip every year just to be with the other members rather than the cars (the cars are nice too) so the #1 thing about the show was the Members and there open hearts and there friendship!  Thank You everyone!

Carlisle was truly amazing. It was a long trip to and from but i'm so glad i went with my parents for the ride. The people on this board are the most interesting and funny people i think i've ever met. Everything from the giant beetle :grinyes: to seeing my car and never having it in my price range.... This was an amazing experience. I will never forget it.  I agree

....it wouldnt have been the same without you Cuda Guy.

Sorry we didn't get to say good bye, you and your husband just seemed to "vanish", too bad you couldn't have stayed for the dinner at Grandpa's Growler, you guys lived the closest, you are sooooooo lucky. Oh BTW, super sweet Cuda Michelle, don't you ever let hubby try and sell it,lol

He told me that he tried to freak you out on your voicemail that he was taking the car on a trailor to an auction.
He also said you were less than happy about it  - but I can see why it's a beauty
