Hemi shaker base plate & scoop for a shaker hood for a 70-71 Challenger

I found a Shaker Hood For my Challenger this weekend. Now I need to find a Hemi shaker base plate & scoop to cut up & modify to make a drop base to fit the Dual Dominator carbs. Anyone have a Fiberglass or steel reproduction laying around?

I have emailed them also. I am hoping to find someones used or even beat up a little parts that may be a little less expensive since I have to cut them all up anyway.

The guy to talk to at Shakerhood.com is Tom, tell him you are needing something you can cut up, he has told me he gets some damaged ones from time to time.

I called Tom. He does not have anything that is a blem or damaged that I could use. I hate to pay thousands of dollars just to cut it all up anyway. I guess I keep searching.

Yes there are fiberglass ones out there. They sell them at year one. Wait to buy during a 30% sale. Be advised they are not that great and I probably will never use one again but they will work.
