E body leaf springs
« on: February 01, 2018 - 08:34:12 AM »
Hello All,

I was going to rebuild my old leaf springs, but it looks like you can get brand new springs from Jegs, Summit etc. for around $100. Has anyone purchased a new set of leaf springs lately? Just wondering where to buy them from.

Thanks,

Robert

Havent bought any lately, but I would look at Firm Feel first, then Mancini before I went to Summit or Jegs. I dont have anything against Summit or Jegs (other than they dont put enough Mopar stuff in their catalogs) but the other 2 are Mopar specific and I feel you will get a better solution.
Current Mopar
70 Challenger RT 440-6 EFI, 73 Cuda 416-6 EFI
05 Hemi Durango, 01 Ram 4x4, 14 Ram 2500 4X4, 10 PCP Challenger 6 spd RT, 01 Viper GTS ACR, 52 B3B w/330 Desoto Hemi, 70 Hemi RR (under const)
Past Mopars
9 x Challengers. AAR Cuda, 4 RR, 2 GTX, 4 Chargers, etc... (too many to list)

Don't forget to measure your spring segment lengths before you order.

If you like quality but hate money (Nordstrom pricing) take a look at Hotchkis e-body springs. I have been happy with their products.

How’s the ride quality with those and what shocks are you running?

My super stock springs are a bit harsh.
