Wheel opening moldings YES or NO?
« on: July 17, 2018 - 12:41:48 PM »
Dear, I have a 440-6 Cuda Year 1970... not sure if I should mount Wheel opening moldings.
Where those optional or standard? Should I mount them or not? How do you think the car looks better? (Vitamin C with Shaker Hood)

Many Thanks!!!

R.

I think that if YOU like them, then who the hell cares what someone else likes- on your car? Your car, your call.

This  is an easy one . If you are doing the car as fender tag , Then this is one thing . But if not DO it for your self . Mopars look good any old way ,Thats it in a nut shell .
Go 4 a spin Ya Why Not.

I put them on another Challenger I had for protection within the lip opening figuring I would just change them if they got worn looking. I wish I hadn't as when I took them off about three years later the screw holes began to rust. I guess it is a trade off. I drove the car year round except in the snow and salt. If you occasionally drive the car it may not be an issue.
