Will the K member and torsion bars from a B body fit on a E body car? I heard they were the same.

I dont think so, but I am not positive. Find a parts manual and compare the numbers.

Torsion bars yes.... 71-72 B body K yes.... 68-69 K no... 70 K yes & no.... The steering box mount angle is different (about 1.5 degrees) but close enough that guys have done it & it works... I personally used a 70 B body K with a skid plate on a 70 Cuda....

Did you have to make any modifications to the K member to make it work on the cuda?

Nope.... The stock coupler allows for a little misalignment...
