Side Glass
« on: September 25, 2018 - 04:22:19 PM »
Im putting the side glass in my 70 Cuda trying to adjust it. My question is when they are rolled up is the glass supposed to touch the stainless trim of the roof rail. A pic would be great of the glass installed in a 70 Thanks Dirk

No, it should sit against the weatherstripping thus sealing it.

There is a ridge on the rubber on the upper portion, if you look at it closely you will see that it basically matches the angles of the glass. Your side glass should be pretty close to that. Having said that, you need to adjust the side and door glass together to get the best overall seal of both, so where it ends up on the weatherstripping isn't set in stone, it just needs to seal and line up with the door glass.

No problem. I know it can be challenging but take your time and make small adjustments. This will give you a an understanding of exactly what does what and how everything fits together/aligns.
