Strange Noise

Got this high pitch whining noise all of a sudden- dissipates when you rev the engine. Fluids are all fine. Shifting is smooth and normal.
Any ideas? We're investigating for possible vacuum leaks.

I read that the AUTO transmission guys should have given it a read, so I re-posted it here. My apologies if this was incorrect.

A lot of no help here.  OOOO two posts.

There were many responses on the original post actually and it’s still active. I think the reason they don’t care for multiple posts going is that different people will start posting the same responses wasting people’s time. Great threads are built when we feed off each other’s ideas and that gets hard to do in separate threads.

I understand why cv70chall made a separate post in a different category but I have to agree that it’s more efficient for everyone (including future readers) if all thoughts are collected and examined under a single thread.

I know in my case, I have an overall build thread and at times I ask a question regarding a specific item on it but then start a thread in the specific category to address it specifically.
