Rear Back Glass and Front Windshield Question

    Rear Back Glass and Front Windshield Question

    This may sound stupid, but I just recieved a big crate box today from Muscle City glass.........
    And I have left it in the crate until it goes around but I ordered front and rear screens and they are an exact match!!!  :eeksmall: :gripe:

    Now, I'm no glass expert but there MUST be a difference right? This is for a 70 Challenger for any newbies.  :)
    If so how, lenght or width? The out lines of the glass are exact....theres no way front will swap with the back, right?  :???:
    @#$%&! Muscle City Glass!!!! I made sure I told them EXACTLY what I wanted several times and I have all the invoices etc..
    The sad thing is if it is incorrect, I may have to ship the bloody thing back and at $500 US to get it here that is just arse.  >:(

    OK now I'm gonna sound stupid . . . . you ordered screens for your windows??  :dontknow:    Are the bugs really that bad there???  Don't invite Topcat over cause he screams loud when attacked by bugs!!  lol

    No windSCREENS.  :laughing: :grinyes: Rear and front glass screens, sheilds etc New Glass.  :laughing:

    They are exactly the same shape!!! I wanted rear and front.  >:( :gripe:

    Sounds like their screwup. If they're a good company, they will send you the correct part and let you keep the wrong part. Obviously, it would cost a lot more to ship it back than the glass would be worth.

    They are definitly different sizes.Are you sure it`s not the packaging making it look the same?

    If it is their mistake , then make them eat the shipping fees. We do it all the time at the company I work for. And vias versa, when we screw up , we end up eating the shipping fees. And we ship some big s_ it ! ! !

    Thanks lads I have since sent an email to Muscle City Glass. He read it 2 days ago, no reply.  :(

    Torred: 100%  ;) It looks like one piece and acutally got cleard in one city as i piece lol.


    I'll wait for their reply and go from there but I have decided to keep it as it is always a good idea to keep a second backup windshield with all the stones & crap on the roads these days. I will just ask for the backglass to be sent with a discount or.....not sure yet.
