Light Package Versus Hood Pins
« on: July 13, 2005 - 11:17:19 AM »
I was looking through some literature a while ago (can't remember where) that stated that the fender mount turn signals were not included (even thought the car has AO1, light package) if it is equiped with hood pins.  Can someone verify if this is true?  Its for a 1970 Challenger R/T SE

Thanks.

That is not correct. ALL E-Bodies came with fender turn signals.  ;)

I'm still trying to figure out if the A01 light group has the 30 second headlight kill switch option?
Do your lights turn off if left on after 30 secons ro so?  :dontknow: :-\

My challenger came with that option.  If you have your lights on when you turn the car off and then turn the lights off it will stay on for thirty seconds to provide light while you get into your house.  Until a friend pointed out that I had that option I thought I had an electrical problem. :-\

Virtually all R/ts did not have fender turn signals , you couldn`t even see them over the bulged hoods

I like it!!! Are you going to put wheel lip moldings on 4C? IMO it breaks up all the plum. Maybe a hockey stripe too?  :dontknow:

While I have never had a '70-71 Challenger with the indicators and magnum hood; I have had 3 '73 Challenger rallyes with them.  I had a '70 shaker hood Challenger with them.  Was it only deleted on '70-71 Challengers with the magnum hood?

Headlight delay had nothing to do with the A01 package.  It was a seperate option.
