Can't find turn signal relay, '73 Cuda
« on: December 31, 2018 - 03:17:55 PM »
Hi, I just bought a 1973 340 Cuda. The front and rear turn signals illuminate on both sides but don't blink when the switch is activated. I found the hazard relay under the dash (they do work but stop when I unplug this relay) but can't find the t/s unit! Is it possible that it's located so high up it's not accessible from under the dash? Can anyone tell me what the wire colors are for it? Unless I'm mistaken, the bulbs would not illuminate without the relay installed to complete the circuit, right?

On my 70 challenger it's located behind the ashtray. On the door. Not sure if it's the same on a 73 cuda?

It's most certainly in there, somewhere. I wouldn't expect the lights to illuminate without a flasher ["relay"] installed.

Same on mine, as I have a 73 dash, behind the ashtray.
