NZ...............my man your talking to the right guy about those two brand x cars..........i can confidently say I am an expert of these......particularly the 70 Chevelle.......I have judged past shows at concours events on Chevelles..........I have won Super Chevy in Memphis twice with a 70 SS-454 all numbers and dates codes matching.......sold it 4 years ago for $27,500 it has since been sold for $42,000.
The RS 69 Z-28 as you know is a nice car too..........love those hidden headlights......there is a wonderful unrestored car that is yellow with a 69 DZ motor and an extra motor that I have tried <unsuccessfully> tried to buy...........ok now that I have tooted my own horn let me say both of these cars will cost you more to purchase than any Charger with the exception of a hemi or perhaps a six pack car.........so you wont get out cheaper..............UNLESS you go with a 71 thats still a little cheaper than a 70 or a 72 thats lower compression and cheaper than both the other chevelles...........the 69 RS Z-28 is a coveted car.
BOth are solid investments, as is I hope my 70 Challenger RT/SE. But I bought the Challenger cause you can buy them all day long and twice on Sundays cheaper than Chevelles or Z-28 Camaros (pre 71). I think the Mopars are going on more quickly in value just now <because> they are cheaper to buy, the body style is nice and the average Joe can buy one, restore it, and sell it at a profit easier than a Chevelle or Z car..............well thats my opinion and I think its a good one, cause I have owned Chevies these past years..........till i got back on the right medicine.......... :spank:
