So, Ive been working on this 69 wagon a little while I am waiting on the trunk floor to arrive. I decided to do some work on the hood which had what appeared to be some minor issues. Basically, the threaded holes where the latch bolts into and where the safety latch bolts to were jacked up, so I think it would be a relatively easy fix, well as they say "best laid plans"... Turns out that  at some point this hood was either laying flat or perhaps on a stationary car because a family of rodents moved into the bracing and set up shop. So I had to cut out some of the bracing, remake the support plate and then replace the parts I cut out. Now I am finishing out the scoop opening.

Wow!  I don't know I've ever seen a rodent nest in that location before.  That would definitely cause some problems.

Yeah it was pretty extensive, but the hood is still usable although not perfect. The scoop part is coming out nicely.

I was finally able to change my stock with new set of wheels and tires thanks to this great package deal I found this week.

I finally got the door for the 62 Dart done and gone. It did not turn out as nice as I had hoped. Everything was good until I went to weld the bottom edge, then the skin developed a number of depressions that I attacked with a stud gun. I was able to get it to the point it could be use with a skim coat but it wasn't super pretty. The reason for this IMO was that the owner had welded on a section on the bottom of the door and it was not aligned correctly which pulled/pushed the door skin in opposing directions.

I got back onto the wagon and am now working on getting the floor fixed so that I can then get the fuel tank modified and put back in and then move on installing the EFI system.

Yeah it sure seems like it. This wagon project (like all of them) has turned into a much larger issue, but I am getting it done. Just finished the piece over the axle, next is the spare tire compartment deletion.

Thanks, it is coming a long. Long way to go to put EFI on it... LOL The next part will be a hat trick, that spare tire compartment delete is a little complicated.
