So, a few more details on that blue 71 charger would be nice......

I started a thread over at FBBO https://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/threads/just-bought-a-71-charger-going-to-a-5-7-i-think.198917/

As far as the details on the 71 go; it was an original 318 AT AC PS PB B5 blue car. It is just a Charger, not a coupe, 500, SE, etc. so pretty plain jane, but the guy I bought the car from was intending to build it as a 383 4 speed car. My intention is to build it as a Super Bee clone since I have never had a Super Bee, I can get a "two-fer" on this one. I am intending on putting a 6.4 G3 hemi into it and running a A833 4 speed behind it. The PO had spent quite a few years collecting parts for it and I got pretty much everything to build it to include a 71 dated 383 but I have no intentions of using that.

The car is pretty rust free overall, supposedly it came out of PA at some point and then spent a lot of time in NM and then AZ where I got it. The PO did replace the left rear quarter, needs a patch on the right side, but again is very rust free. I do have the mid length pistol grip for it which I will be using, I will be putting in buckets with a buddy seat. I am not going back to B5, instead I am going with a very dark blue and am thinking about doing a 2 tone red interior (think black dash frame with a red dash pad, black lower door panels with red uppers. I recognize that this may not appeal to others but I already have 2 cars with black interiors and I want something different in this one. I hate white interiors so that is out, tan/brown is a possibility but I intend to do the Roadrunner in a dark grey with a brown (like saddle brown) interior.

I really wish this site wasn't toast as I would much rather post my builds here but since it will not take any pictures it is kind of moot.

You can host your photos on another site - kinda like photo bucket, but without the membership fees.  I've been using https://postimages.org/. No charge and there is a resize feature upon upload, which is nice for those folks who don't know how to resize photos.

Thanks, I might look into it but I just hate uploading my pictures to a 3rd party website just to post them here, especially when no other forum does this (at least that I am a member of).

I don't know why it is this way but I am not a fan.

I hear ya man.  Most of the ones that I have frequented in the past had limited server space, so I have always done the 3rd party thing. Unfortunately, the 3rd party server I was using is no longer around, so that has it's own issues hence the reason my build thread only has about half the pictures in it now). Most of those sites don't like it when you cross post either, it would take up too much bandwidth.  Now that tech has come a bit farther, that seems less and less of an issue, but the forums (everywhere) in general have just died with the advent of Facebook.  I'm not a fan either.  Hard to have a chronological build of something like this on a Facebook group. The posts get buried and hard to find. I'd be willing to donate here to keep this place alive if that is an option though.

Yeah I am not sure what the deal is here with this site, I really wish it was sorted as I really like this site but it isn't so for now I will stick to words I guess. That said, I do not think I will ever do a full build on any site, takes a lot of time and effort and I am not sure it is worth the effort overall. I guess this came at a good time for me since my RR build is on hold right now as I am still working on a 69 Ply station wagon and have a 70 RR and 70 Satellite to work on after the wagon.

Not sure what you are asking. I do not have a build thread anywhere on the RR and as I stated it is on hold right now because i am working on a 69 Ply wagon (440 6 pack 4 spd), then I have to build a 70 RR (572 Hemi 5 spd) then I am going to build my 71 Charger (5.7 Hemi 5 spd) and THEN I can get to my RR.

The newbie is gone.  Apparently when the site was taken over I had multiple IP address's attached to my account. I specifically turned in both the newbies with the weird accounts.I  must have turned them into themselves if they were in control.
Is that snitching?  I've never ratted a person ever in my life, with exception of spammers on forums.

I have been working on a 69 Ply wagon with a 440 6 pack (EFI) and another 70 RR that is going to Australia. I am going to start work on my 71 Charger hopefully soon.

Just tried the picture deal... no joy..

Mike, I'm just jealous as hell that you not only have all those fab projects, but that you have the time to chew through them. LOL Somebody here managed to post photos a while back, but I can't remember who and when that was. Are you managing to get any shooting in between all these cars?
