Battery Toppers

Anyone use the battery toppers (yellow or green caps)?  I've used them before on various cars and it was fine...I ordered one for my 72 RR on a group 24 battery, and my hold down is too short.  I am in need of a 7"+ hold down.  Any help would be appreciated.

You could try Mopar Dave at Roseville Chrysler. He gives discounts to members and failing that, buy a piece of 3/16" rod and weld in a section and paint it black. Easy peasy.
