wire to trunk lid?

Noticed a wire going into the trunk lid on my 70 Challenger. Anybody know what it is?
also hoping to find a power wire or ignition wire in the trunk somewhere?
looks like I would need to run one back there.

fyi tried to attach pic, got rejected too large

but there is no light in the lid... him, maybe its missing. need to into that.

Its not uncommon for them to be missing. You need to find where the end of the wire is in the trunk lid, it is probably just laying in there.

AND it may be live! You don't need any uncontrolled shorts in these cars. Just my  :2cents:
