Car transport companies??
« on: July 14, 2005 - 03:46:36 PM »
Hi - The couple that bought my 71 barracuda is getting some high transport rates from NJ to CO.. $1800.00

Does anyone have any names, links & phone #'s they could contact for, hopefully for some better rates. Since I have an extra hood etc, it might be better to haull it in an eclosed trailer. I told them I would ask around. Pls let me know on this thread. TIA

I don't have a recommendation, but if you want enclosed trailer, that price is probably in the line of reason. Open trailer, maybe half that.

I used Passport when I had my "69 Charger shipped from San Jose, CA to southeast Texas.

$1,500.00 enclosed.

Passport is owned by FedEx now, but they are one of the oldest autotransporters in the business.
