Brake Light not working passenger side

Noticed the brake light is not working on the passenger side of my 1970 Barracuda.  Taillight works fine, just not the brake light.  Tried changing the bulb, adding additional ground, no dice.  Traced the wire back to the splice on drivers side and it looks good, running jumper wire between drivers and pass side still does not result in working taillight.  At this point I believe that the bulb socket may be bad, but open to hear from the more experienced.  Can anyone point me to a place to buy an appropriate , preferably NOS  bulb socket to purchase?  TIA

Don't make it harder than it has to be. First check for power at the socket. A simple light tester will suffice. Once you determine you have 12 volts at the socket, then it has to be the ground, or bulb. If you are sure you have a good bulb, then it is the ground. There can be issues with the socket, [I would not rule it out] but first determine you have 12 volts present. Then work from there. If you need a new socket any "competent" auto parts store can supply you with one.

Both taillights work, both blinkers work, only drivers brake line works.  Brown wire on pass side (brake light/blinker wire) only has power with blinker, not with depressing brake pedal.  connections are tight under dash, brake switch operating as it should, bulb is good yet no pass side brake light.  It's a head scratcher for me, maybe I am making it harder than it should be but it doesnt make sense to me.  Ground is good as all other function work fine.

Either the connection in the socket is bad or the bulb itself is bad. What I do is disconnect the 2 wires that go to your brake light switch under the dash (or use an assistant), then I jump them with a wire, this makes your brakes lights come on, then test the socket with a simple tester (the kind that lights up when power is applied).

I have a power probe which is absolutely awesome and make wiring issues so much easier to work on.

Ok, more info makes it easier. Obviously bulb is good, socket is good, ground is good. You need to trace the power wire, (brown wire) from the brake light switch to where it connects to the blinker wires. Follow the power. There has to be a point in the harness where power is not making it to the passenger side bulb from the brake light switch. The link below is a colored schematic that should help you. For whatever reason you have lost power somewhere in your harness. Follow the power from the BL switch...
