If my car was built on September 12th...how do I know if that was 1969 or 1970.  No build sheet and nonmatch engine/trans.

The 10,000 day calendar 1970 model year goes from July 1969 to June 1970 .

The zero in U0E is the first part of the puzzle.   So zero is 1970 in the vin.

Next is the "scheduled production date" on the fender tag.  912 is September 12 of production year 1969.

Is there still a door sticker?

I thought it was August 69-July 70.  Correct me if I'm wrong please  @73440

I was going by the 10,000 day calendar in Galens parts and casting book and that was how the 1970 model year was shown .

I'm just using the little production options code book from Galen.

One of them has to be correct.

I think the production book that you used is probably correct for the model year .
Thinking about it more the 10,000 day calendar that I had used that shows model year must be more for just the parts and casting date not the production model year.

that makes a lot of sense.  Those parts would have been available before the cars were available.
