Gauge of Steel to Fill Holes
« on: February 05, 2020 - 03:45:14 PM »
Does anyone know what gauge of steel the doors and fenders are made of?  I have a whole in the fender about the size of a quarter, where an old style alarm key switch was. I also have a hole in the door about the size of a dime I need to fill.  Thanks.

18 or 20. I have found that alot if it is 20g but 18 is a bit heavier and more forgiving to weld to/on.
