Help!! We lost a 70 AAR Cuda!! San Antonio area
« on: April 18, 2020 - 02:05:15 PM »
I am not kidding. The car is lost right now. My wife's brother bought the car in 1974 right after he got out of the Army. About two years ago, he decided to take it to a shop to have it fully restored. He took it to a shop somewhere in the Texas hill country north of San Antonio, and it might even be in a San Antonio shop. He took it in sometime in late 2018 or early 2019. Sadly, he was in early stages of dementia at that time and it has advanced to the point now that he can't remember where the car is. His wife needs to sell it because of his medical expenses. He's a veteran, but the VA is no help at all. I've reached out to three shops in the area, including Martin Brothers in Johnson City and Jeff Lilly in Bandera.

If you guys know of any shops in that area that do restos on these cars, please reach out to them. We'd be looking for a shop owner who has an original AAR Cuda who has been unable to contact its owner.  My email is rj.rj2@verizon.net.

Thank you

I assume you are getting lists of every body shop in 200 miles of that area and calling all of them?

I'll keep my eyes out but rarely get down that way.  I've a friend who travels down there, I'll throw it towards him.  ya never know.
Good luck!  Better keep calling all the shops.

Did you brother have any paperwork at all for the shop?  Maybe in his tools or something?  He's gotta have some kind of paper work that exists somewhere.
