New challenger door hinges
« on: May 13, 2020 - 09:57:21 PM »
Does any one have a recommendation for buying door hinges for my 73 challenger at a particular business? I want the best fitting and not some overseas junk.

Rebuild what you have, it is not hard and you can get really good results. Go to to your local auto parts store and look for the "Help" section, there should be a long pack with bushings and pins. There are guys out there that will rebuild them for you as well. The factory hinges have steel pins in steel hinges, rebuilds have a bronze bushing installed that the pins go through and the bushings are longer (meaning they have more surface contact area) than the steel hinges themselves.
