First off, all the old pictures are gone, secondly you cannot upload any new pictures....

hate to think that.  But....

Pictures has been an issue on the site forever.  Only gets worse.  I had hundreds if not thousands of pictures I've posted over the years.  I go back to my old threads and they are all gone.  They get "cleaned up" after so much time.

Every time I send a private message now my screen for this site freezes up and I don't know if it even made it through.

Yeah, this might be the down hill slide for this site unless there is an administrator who can chime in...

Cudahunter - I have seen a lot of your pictures, I too had quite a lot posted here on my Cuda, Challenger and more recently Roadrunner builds. I have all of the pictures thankfully.

Unless someone admin comes on to provide some information, I am not sure what is going to happen. While posting pics has always been an issue, I could always get it done but without pictures, people will stop coming here I think. As both of you guys know, I am already on FABO, FBBO, FEBO and CC.org (don't go there very often).

Thanks for starting this thread , I enjoy following the build threads and also posting what I have been up to. Not the same without photos, pictures say a thousand words.  I never had a problem uploading photos until a week ago and I doing nothing different.

My pleasure, now if I could get someone to answer that has the ability to address it, we would be doing good.

I think they either merged with some other company/forum provider or something but there have been a number of changes and perhaps they are still making changes.

My avatar is gone as well. 
And any private message i send still freezes up my screen.  have to close it and come back to the site again.

Well, if I've put together all the pieces correctly, the fact that all the old photos are gone and so are avatars as well as the ability to post either POM's or new photos seems to me to suggest a movement to a cheaper, smaller data service. This has most likely been done due to the wholesale defection of members over to E Bodies.org with the attendant loss of traffic/income. I hope I'm wrong, but you've got to wonder. If so, that's a damn shame as there's literally a treasure trove of info here, and it's loss or inability to be accessed will be a blow to the whole community!

Well, sense we are on the subject.
From what I understand, Cody offered many times to purchase this site and keep it going in order to keep the info available and not have to divide anything.  But after numerous attempts of being turned down he went ahead and started another site.  Cody was thinking of all of us and the information that we would loose.  But a person can only ask so many times.

I have never spoken to Cody about it but it makes sense, its about legacy I guess. I am slightly surprised that no one from the administrative side has cared enough to even offer a simple explanation as to what is going on here, suggests a lack of care overall.

I've tried sending some personal messages to some members that have not been on in some time.  messaging keeps freezing up. don't even know if they went through.
