Wanted: Passenger Side 70 Challenger Window Regulator
« on: September 13, 2020 - 11:10:52 AM »
Searching for a replacement 70 Passenger Door Window Regulator.   Not sure if 71-74 are the same???

I can't seem to get the window to position correctly in the door and suspect that the frame is bent or missing pieces.   IF you have a complete mechanism sitting in your garage, please let me know.   Don't really want to buy a new one for $200, but willing to pay up to $75 for a complete and clean original plus shipping costs.

Thanks ..... Gary

1970 regulators are different from '71 - '74.
Also the inner sheet metal stamping of a 1970 door frame is different than a '71 - '74.
A 1970 regulator will not work in a '71 - '74 door frame. THIS ONLY APPLIES TO CHALLENGERS. Any year regulator will fit and year door frame on a Cuda because of the different window crank position.

You might have a '70 Challenger regulator in a '71 - '74 door frame. (if your issue is with the same car you've had for awhile, I kind of doubt it because you would have noticed this some time ago.)

Since pics can't be uploaded on this site see replies #6, #8 and #9 in the link for a more thorough explanation.
