« on: October 18, 2020 - 02:40:34 PM »
Hello I have hooker pro comp header on a 360 worked great until I put the hotchkis tvs kit. now i have about 2-3 inches of ground clearance. is there a a long tube header that would work better?

Thanks

A lot of guys talk up TTI headers, but I have no first hand experience with them. They're expensive but apparently worth it. FWIW

TTI are as good as you are going to get with regards to clearance unless you go with shorty headers or manifolds. I have TTI on my Cuda and I have never seen headers fit as well or as tight and my Cuda is pretty low. I have Schumacher Tri Y headers on my Challenger and they are awesome but they are no longer being made.

Past Mopars

I also have the TTI 3" X pipe headers on my 1970 440 'Cuda connected to TTI 1-7/8" headers.  I have never had an issue with ground clearance even in deep dips or steep driveways.
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda.  Matching numbers 440 U Code, 4 speed pistol grip, Rallye dash, AM 8 Track, Shaker hood, 15 inch rallye wheels, Dana 60 4.10, Super Track Pak.  One of 134 - 440 "U" coupes codes built in 1970 and one of 100 - 440 Super Track Paks built in 1970.

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.
