Length of Hemi dipstick tube?
« on: January 29, 2021 - 02:52:29 PM »
Does anyone know the length of a stock hemi dipstick tube for a 6 quart oil pan? Because I have headers and a dipstick tube will not fit, I am trying to find out just how much of the dipstick itself actually goes into the oil pan. If I knew the length of the tube from top end to the point where it enters the block, that would tell me how I would have to position a dipstick in the hole to see how much oil is in the pan.  Thanks!
