best carb/intake 512 stroker?
« on: May 27, 2021 - 03:40:28 PM »
i have had enough of the tuning of my dual eddies 0n my 512, fix one issues and another comes! I'm looking into either a single 4 barrel and an intake that will fit under a 70 challenger hood. Does anyone have a cost comparison between a single 4 barrel/intake and fuel injection?

I don't have a direct answer for you but I would say that if you do some research online and see some intakes you like, I'd call the companies (tech line) and tell them exactly what you have and what you want. There are lots of intakes out there as I am sure you know, you just need to determine what you want it to do (race car, street car, etc.). No intake will be the "be all end all", there will be a compromise.

Living under a flat hood limits your performance options.

I could hook you up with a carb/intake combo to trade for the dual quad intake

Buy a proform carb.
They will tune it to your specs.
