    1974 Challenger with 318
    I’m looking at the service manual and it says the OWM alternator is 41amps?!  Is that correct?
    If it is, it seems the $35 autozone alt at 65amps would be a big upgrade

    While I have a 74 Challenger AND the FSM, I've never looked that up. Having said that, if that's what it said, then that's likely what it is and you're right, the replacement part is a better capacity.  :cheers:
