Hagerty valuations
« on: April 30, 2022 - 02:40:27 AM »
Hi All, new to the site and new to Mopar (GM guy for 30 years)
I've got a question on Hagerty valuations. Are they Low, or realistic ?
I'm trying to get a REAL MARKET value on a 70 RT 440 375 4 speed challenger coupe.
Built & modified #s matching engine, alloy heads, added 6 pack & shaker, aluminum case 4 speed, early B body Dana (shorter I think)
Original Black on black, new interior, P/discs, P/steer.
Needs a little cosmetic work, but pretty solid.
Hagerty says 50K ? seems low compared to asking prices.
Any opinions and a realistic ballpark, would be great.
Thanks in advance

I've never had any faith in Hagerty or the auctions. The car is worth what you are willing to pay based off research of similar models either up for sale currently or recently sold. The car in question sound cool but IMO $50K is steep.
Current Mopar
70 Challenger RT 440-6 EFI, 73 Cuda 416-6 EFI
05 Hemi Durango, 01 Ram 4x4, 14 Ram 2500 4X4, 10 PCP Challenger 6 spd RT, 01 Viper GTS ACR, 52 B3B w/330 Desoto Hemi, 70 Hemi RR (under const)
Past Mopars
9 x Challengers. AAR Cuda, 4 RR, 2 GTX, 4 Chargers, etc... (too many to list)
