Where would you go if C-C.com went down?
« on: July 17, 2005 - 06:02:01 PM »
With all the refugees from D-C.com over here it got me thinking where would we all go if this site ever went down.I hope it never does as it`s the best site I`ve ever been on but if I had to I`d probably go back to ScatPack or Moparts which are the only other sites I visit occasionally.Where would you guys hang out if not here?

Truthfully, I'd make every effort to keep in touch with at least the "Carlisle" crowd of the last few years from here, and I list them only because I have had the priviledge of personally meeting them. Other than that like David said, "In my garage", no place could replace this group of guys and gals, so why bother go looking, it would just be a dissappointment.   :'(

But seriously folks......

I would also be out in the garage. I have looked at alot of the other site but at this one I feel at home. It's the people that make the difference. The 70 Challenger R/T  I purchased was with the help of a member. He did'nt know me yet he went the extra mile to hook me up with the seller some 2000 miles away and now we e-mail each other about the progress we hope to achive with our rides.
It's the people and if this site went down I might as well be by myself in the garage.

I probably would look at stuff on eBay or just spend less time on the internet. But if you were talking about other forums, than I would probably spend a lot more time at moparchat, but would also visit stangnet, srtforums, and a couple other general forums.
