Just a place a post disassembly pics, comments are welcome. Not a guide for others to follow.

The plan, bring it down to a shell to get it ready for the body shop.

Spending lots of time cuting old bolts that have rusted up. I'm using WD-40 and other lubes to loosen it up.

Dumped AT fluid, thank goodness for cat litter.

Grill is mint  ;D

The baggies...

Trans looken good.

Love the smell of AT fluid!  :ack:
Good thing you are bagging the bolts.  It takes a lot longer but you will find it well worth the extra effort.

Looking good!  We're doing the same exact thing with the duster now.

Looking good, Cudahob!  I noticed you mentioned you have been using WD-40 to help you break loose some of those rusted nuts and bolts....PB Blaster would work great for doing that stuff. :grinyes: (PB Blaster was my friend during the teardown process.) ;D  Be sure to keep us posted with how everything else goes. ;)

Dispite the nice looking pics, the condition of the car is contrary. Everything is shot, and I mean everything, except for the body.

This is a total rebuild. My best dreams I've dreamed for more than two decades, is to take apart a Mopar and touch every piece myself. I love it,there is nothing more to do than do it.

I am a restorer of many things from pianos to real 1920 steam locomotive. I'm not happy unless there is a tool in my hand and I am turning back the hands of time on a piece. It's my talent, since I was 6 years old.

I will put this car visually 1 min after it left the plant in Michigan, and boy what a stunner she was.

Good morrning, to continue... SC what is a PB blaster?

Fast forward to 2005 undetectable mods.

When compleated it has to perform these duties.

1. Car shows
2. Cruz'en
3. Power Tours
4. Drags
5. Some road racing
6. Magazine

With little or no down time, just changing oil and tune ups.

Brakes:
Manual Front disks - possible A-body change over, or aftermarket. Power brakes?

Suspension: FFI
Reinforced lower controle arms
Fast ratio manual steering
Heavy duty tie rod kits
Bigger sway bar kits
Tubular upper controle arms
Urethane bushings
15' 7 Rally wheels with big meats
Pinion snuber
Sub frames already installed
2nd set of Rally wheels 14' 6 with goodyear raised white letters. Original to the car, for shows.

Engine:
What most experts agree like the Hemi, the 340 crank HP was closer to 340hp.
With that, I'm going with some light porting to stock heads, and a modern cam grind, hydraulic.
Stock bottom end.
Probably go with a Edlebrock, performer RPM, or would rather look into a Mopar equivalent.
Mopar electronic ignition
Stock manifolds to a tti
AVS carter
Possible Aluminium radiator; In the Midwest heat if the stock one can't do it.
Picking up hopefully 18 to 25hp

Trans:
Not sure about what stall to go with yet.
Trans Go kit

Rearend
Two sets of pumkins
3.91 and 3.23 Clutch type

Body: Original to the car
Stock FF4 Lime green metallic
Black 340 stripe

Interior:
Stock dark green
am radio 1 speaker
Redline gauges works, non rally dash.
Dynamat sound deadener

Thanks to all CC and DC members for the modern mods. It should out perform many X brand cars.

And Thank you, for your help in the near future.
