How often do you change your oil and filters?  What is your oil of choice?

I only put about 1500 miles on a year, so I change it once a year. Yeah, the oil companies don't like that, but I can't see doing it more often. I use Mobile 1 oil, and K&N oil filter.

Yep that about the same with me.  Since I put limited miles and the car, I change it every spring when the car comes out of winter storage!   I use castrol!   :grinyes:

I change mine about every 4000 miles because i still feel that all the compaines push 3000miles so they'll sell more oil....but ANYWAYS  ;D I'm going to be running a Bosch filter in my new motor, ive read they are pretty good but i gotta do some more reasearch. and ill be running Rotella (Shell) 15w-40 Diesel oil all year as well  :burnout:

Royal Purple/Amsoil
Hastings filter (K+N is a hastings filter)
Every 3000 miles

If I use dino oil, it is Valvoline, I have a bad experience with castrol, and dont believe it is still the quality that is got its name from.

I do mine once a month thru out the summer since my car sees several short trips a day but only puts on about 350 miles a month. I use either 20-50 Casrtrol or 50w Valvoline when I can find it. Most times I use a Fram or Bosch filter

As for my daily driver, every 3000 miles.  Using Valvoline,  car has 250k on it so far.  My brother does the same and racked up 350k on his V-6 truck before he sold it.  Never had any mechanical work done, except for a water pump.

When the 440-6 is done and broke in, I plan on Royal Purple.  Change it every year whether it needs it or not.

I do - I believe the Fram P/N is PH8A

As far as how often I do it twice - Once out of storage and another towards the end of the season, it's overkill - I know.

I use ( obviously ) Fram filters and Valvoline oil.

We first put a fram oil filter on the chally.  When we took pics of the engine and posted on the board, many people told us that Fram's were the worst kind to use.  They posted a link to a thread on the dodge-charger board where they were discussing this topic and where they also used a link to another site that showed the SAE testing results, which were terrible for Fram.  Unfortunately D-C.com is down and I can't remember the other site.  I know it was enough to change our minds on Fram filters.
