Chryco,
I got the Duster started yesterday! However, the event went like this... I rewired my electric fuel pump to a toggle switch and power from the starter relay. Hooked up the battery, flipped the toggle and the fuel pump runs fine. When I turned the key, I got nothing, not even a clicking. I rechecked that the shifter was in N and tried again. Nothing, but on the 3rd try the started activated and it fired up.
I let the engine warm up to operating temp. and check the carb. fuel levels. The rear bowl was low so I started the float adjustment and fuel pissed out from the adjustment nut about 2ft. ont my headers! AWK!
I quickly tightened the nut and screw to no avail. Shut it off and replaced the gasket under the nut. Car failled to start again on first turn of key, but 2nd time worked. Still have fuel leaking from under the adjusting nut. Do I need to pull the fuel bowl off and inspect inside?
Also checked my battery cable connections on the starter and everything is dry and secure.
Any ideas about these two probs.?
Thanks
