    I am starting my 540 strokereand need some help.

    I am trying to find out my rod and piston situation

    I am going to use a  440RB  with a 4.5 stroker crank crank has mopar mains and chevy rods

    heads are 440 1k


    want around 13.1  0r 14.1

    my problem is i dont know what rod length I need or what kind of pistons.  anyone know what to do or a article of a build like this?  basicly building a indy 540 engine

    anything would help

    I like rod ratio , so I would be using a 7.1" rod & a custom forged piston from Diamond , JE or Ross
