« on: July 31, 2005 - 11:38:13 AM »
they used to work, now they dont on my 72 chally. i'm kinda new to all this so....is there just one 12V flasher? i guess thats my problem. the one i pulled says "signal-stat" #175 12V flasher S452. it has 2 prongs at 90 degree angles. i'll try changing this. any advise on other possible problems?

there are 2 flasher units , 1 by the steering column & the other by the ash tray, if I remember right the ash tray is the turn signals & the steering column one is the hazzard

If that doesn't cure the problem , check the multi wire pin connector that comes outta the steering column , there are two of them side by side right at the dash brace mount for the steering column. Mine had a loose connector in it and I ended up loosing my turn signals intermittently. One time they'd work , then they wouldn't .
Seemed that when my knee bumped into the harness , it would make the connection and work. Had me stumped for a bit till I found it .
