thanks for the suggestions. i put a new fuel filter on it (a clear one so i could see if i had fuel or not). when i took the old one off some very dirty gas came out of it (this filter was new 150 miles ago). when i put the new filter on i cranked the engine over and ran the fuel line out of the pump into a bucket until the gas came out clear. It didnt take too long but some very dirty gas came out. Once the filter was back on i took it out again, went about 1/2 mile and it stalled again. There was no fuel in the filter so we blew the line from the pump to the tank out, while doing that we found the inside of the rubber fuel line feeding the pump looked to be frayed, cut the end off and hooked it back up. It seems to have been the problem as i drove the car for 15 miles with no problems. I still need to clean the lines and tank out since some of the gas that came out was so dirty. i'm hoping that i can just pull the tank off and somehow rinse it out, not really sure if there is a procedure for that or if anyone else has done something similar. Anyway, also gotta check the brakes out tommorow night as the back half of the master cylinder resevoir has dried up twice now. Thanks again.
