looks like i never gave an update, i bought a new tank and new sending unit and put it on. It was gonna cost just as much to get it dipped and sealed, so i figured i might as well get a new one. turns out the old one was a litte bent up. Now, i'm having problems with the ignition, it keeps cutting out, hopefully just the points or something like that, but that will have to wait till spring cause i dont have anywhere to work on it for the winter.
