How Rare? '70 'Cuda 440 4bbl with AC
« on: August 08, 2005 - 12:45:13 AM »
Got a friend who has a '70 'Cuda 440 4BBL U code car with AC. Anyone know how many of those were made with AC?

And sorry, I have no pictures of his car...

A/C on a U code was more common than you think. Most buyers who opted for the U-code were people who started by looking for a Hemi or Six Pack, but put off by the fact these engines could not be had with A/C.

:iagree: Considering the A/C could not be orderd with 6 pack and HEMI's it was the obvious plan of attack to get the RB-4bbl.
